992-TRIO TROUBLESHOOTING

T 1. IF INK STAINS ON PRINTING PAPER:

1. REMOVE CARTRIDGE.

NEVER LEAVE LEAKING CARTRIDGE IN PRINTER

2. Stand cartridge on tissue, printhead down, until leaking stopped & three small color spots seen on tissue.

3. Wipe inside printer (see User's Guide).

4. Reload & do printhead clean.

T 2. IF 1 OR 2 COLORS NOT PRINTING:

1. Remove cartridge from printer.

2. Hold tissue over printhead and blow into cartridge through filling hole of color(s) not printing until ink flows from printhead.

3. Reload cartridge.

T 3. IF NO PRINT

1. Check Recycling Instructions followed exactly.

2. Do printhead clean up to 5 times.

T 4. IF CARTRIDGE STILL FAILS TO PRINT:

Check white contact points on metal area on cartridge. Look very closely (magnifying glass is best). If any contact points are scratched through to metal, cartridge is no longer usable.

T 5. IF PRINT IS DARK BROWN:

it is normal for some discoloration in first printing only, but if it continues, inks refilled in wrong holes:

1. Print until empty.

2. Refill in correct holes.
